Okay, so I went shopping today just for fun. <.< Don't judge me, guys can have fun shopping too, sadly I didn't get to go to anything like Bath & Body Works since there wasn't one around in the region I went to.

Anyway, everyone knows those annoying guys at stores how always ask you if you need any help. So expecting to shut some guy up, one guy at Best Buy asked me if I had any questions so I responded with "Yeah, do any of these computers have the option of being packaged with Ubuntu." Instead of him just saying no and walking away, like what happens to most people I talk to about tech stuff because it's obvious I'm just toying with them, we got on a discussion on how linux is just as good as windows and how macs just plain suck unless you're doing media work. Needless to say I think I made a new friend.

Also at Wendy's I got in another discussion with the cashier who saw my nintendo t-shirt and said I wasn't old enough to remember that to which I responded with "Yeah I am, I used to play mario 3 and we even had duck hunt!" She was so happy when I told her I was only 16 and still enjoyed the classics because her 26 year old son just keeps on going for whatever the newest system is just for the eye-candy graphics. Afterwards she started complaining about how the register was still running a greenscale ms-dos prompt to which my mom started talking to her. Oh, I love people born in the last generation, because of how I live my life I've always viewed myself as one of them and usually fit in better with adults than the kids in my grade.

I didn't really want to go out in the first place but I cheered up after we went to an Ollie's where I ended up finding Menopause for Dummies. I couldn't help but laugh at the title of the book, I didn't even bother picking it up just because it's one of those subjects that I feel I can get by on with the knowledge I do have.

Oh, what a weird day.
